HOME CUSTOM FITTING LESSONS CLUB BUILDING ADVANCED KNOWLEDGE

Why get a lesson at an indoor golf centre?

My goal is to give you as much information as possible about your own golf game, from the longest of shots to the shortest of putts.

As an experienced player, I am well aware that the most important part of golf is putting.  At the All Golf Swing Centre you can have a 30 minute putting lesson on a state-of-the-art “Scotgreens” putting surface.

A swing lesson at the All Golf Swing Centre, lasting half an hour (the first lesson might be slightly longer), will begin with a few shots into the cage to warm up, then, with the aid of two video cameras (one down the line and one face on), I will take footage of your swing.  Using “C-Swing” software I will project your swing onto a large screen where we can see precisely where the club and the body are throughout the swing.  With this information, combined with my own knowledge and expertise, I will be able to advise you of any swing changes needed.

The rest of the session will be about making sure you understand why the changes are being made and also to make sure you know exactly where the body and club should be throughout the swing.

I will clearly show you simple drills or movements to help improve the consistency of your swing.  After all, a consistent swing will help you to lower your scores and enhance your enjoyment of the game.

In the Centre there are many swing training aids, including the NMS Fault Fixer and the Leaderboard.

The NMS is a great training aid because you can position it in many different ways, hit shots and get instant feedback if you make a bad swing.

The Leaderboard is a great training aid for building lower body strength and core stability.  Most golfers think that their legs are for standing on (which is obviously true) but in the golf swing they are

essential for building, storing and releasing power.

The majority of golfers who slice the ball will try and hit the ball using their upper body, swinging over

the top.  This makes the club travel from an

“out-to-in” swing path, starting the ball left of the intended target.  If the club face is open, it causes a slice.  After 5 minutes of using the Leaderboard, you will   be able to feel  how your legs should work to support your upper body properly, thus preventing the upper body coming over the top and help eradicate that slice.

By the end of your lesson you will have a better understanding of your own golf swing.
